The brief
The customer’s drawings call for a freestanding gondola that can be shopped from all four sides: slotted uprights at each end for hooks and shelving, panels between them, and a base. It comes in two colour finishes, and because it is ordered again and again, every run has to match the gondolas already in stores.
How we built it
All of the mild steel work happens in our shop. We laser cut the uprights — including every row of slots — form the panels and base on our press brakes, and weld the steel structure together. The steel is then powder coated through our finishing partners, in gold or sage green. The white slat panels and wood-look decks in these photos are supplied separately.
The result
Because the gondola is a regular job for us, every run comes out the same: the same slot spacing, the same fit, the same finish — so new units match the ones already on the floor.
