The brief
The customer sent us drawings for a wire shelf pusher for drinks and needed 400 built to them. Each pusher has three stepped wire rails held between two formed steel end brackets with mounting holes. At 400 pieces, the job was all about repeatability: every rail bent to the same profile and every bracket hole in the same place, so all 400 would install the same way on the shelf.
How we built it
We reviewed the drawings for manufacturing first. The end brackets were then laser cut from mild steel sheet, mounting holes included, and formed on our press brakes. The wire rails were bent to their stepped profile on our automatic wire bender, then welded to the brackets so each unit came out square and consistent. Because we make wire and sheet metal under one roof, the rails and brackets were made to fit each other from the start.
The result
All 400 pushers were built, checked and stacked for delivery — the same part, 400 times.
